Vignesh takes five wickets

Bangalore: S. Vignesh's five-wicket haul set up St. Joseph's Indian High School's (SJIHS) nine-wicket victory over Sri Kumaran School in a Parle Cup inter-school under-17 cricket tournament match here on Wednesday.

The scores: Sri Kumaran School 73 in 19 overs (S. Vignesh five for 19) lost to SJIHS 78 for one in 7.4 overs; St. Paul's English School 137 in 42 overs lost to JIRS 141 for five in 23.3 overs (S. Rohit 50, K. Vashidhar four for 36); Parachute Regiment School 169 in 33.2 overs (Akshay 47, Sharath five for 43) lost to National HS 173 for six in 28.1 overs; VVS Sardar Patel HS 188 in 45 overs (Abhishek Shetty 73) lost to Presidency School (R.T. Nagar) 189 for two in 21.2 overs (Prithvi Ramesh 96); Presidency School (Nandini layout) 221 in 45 overs (Sashindra 70, Darshan 42) bt Bishop Cotton Boy's School 191 in 42 overs (P.V.
