Call to revamp courses in IPRs

HYDERABAD: Former Supreme Court Judge Justice K. Ramaswamy has called for revamping courses on Intellectual Property Rights and related issues in the light of the significance the IP regime has assumed the world over. Explaining the evolution of IP regime, he said on Tuesday that national law schools and other institutions of higher learning had a key role to play in taking forward IP study and research programmes. The judge was speaking at a function organised to distribute scholarships to law scholars at NALSAR University here. The scholarship was instituted by Microsoft.
