Vaughan falls for a duck

PERTH : Michael Vaughan's anticipated return from injury lasted seven balls on Wednesday when the former England cricket captain was out for a duck in a limited-overs match between an England Academy XI and Western Australia.

Vaughan, who led England to victory in last year's Ashes series against Australia, was playing his first match since a county appearance in May, pressing a comeback from a severe knee injury suffered ahead of England's tour of Pakistan. — AP
