To instil love for animals

TIRUCHI: If the love and compassion for animals aren't inborn, it must be instilled.

This is what the Samrakshana Club, an animal welfare society, holds as the prime principle.

Its first anniversary celebrations, recently held at the Sri Sivananda Balalaya, apparently kindled the compassion in the hearts of several students.

Students from seven participant clubs took part in the competitions that were held.

Children with learning disorders stole the show with their enthralling performances in music, dance and mono acting.
