Isolated rain likely in T.N.

CHENNAI: Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu. Mainly dry weather prevailed over Kerala, Lakshadweep and north interior Karnataka and dry weather prevailed over Andhra Pradesh, coastal and south interior Karnataka.

The chief amounts of rainfall recorded in centimetres:

Kattumannarkoil (Cuddalore dt.), Kadaladi (Ramanathapuram dt.), Ramanathapuram and Surangudi (Tuticorin dt.) 1 each.

Arogyavaram recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 14 degree Celsius in the plains of the region.

FORECAST (Valid until Saturday morning): Isolated rain thundershowers are likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Lakshadweep and Karnataka. Mainly dry weather will prevail over Andhra Pradesh.
