KOLLAM: The Bishop Jerome Memorial South India Intercollegiate Paper Presentation Competition will be held at Fatima Mata National College here on Friday. The annual event, conducted by the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of the college, will be inaugurated by Kollam Bishop Stanley Roman. At a press conference here on Wednesday, Principal and president of the association Soosamma Kavumpurath said the subject for the competition was "Development scope of higher education in Kerala." The organisers had received 150 papers for the preliminary round. Ten had been short-listed for the finals.
