Correction

Hyderabad: In reference to a report published in these columns on September 29, 2006, it is clarified that the High Court upheld the election of Telugu Desam MLA Lalitha Thomas from the Palamner Assembly constituency and dismissed the petition of M. Tippeswamy of the Congress and not as reported. The error is regretted.
