Timings of several trains change today

KOZHIKODE: Train no. 6306 Kannur-Ernakulam Intercity Express will leave Kannur at 2.30 p.m. from Friday, instead of the earlier 3.30 p.m.

A Railway press release says 6628 Mangalore-Chennai West Coast Express will leave Mangalore at 9.30 p.m. instead of 9.15 p.m. 6868 Mangalore-Tiruchirappalli Express will leave Mangalore at 6.40 a.m. instead of 6.30 a.m. 388 Mangalore-Coimbatore Fast Passenger will leave Mangalore at 7.50 a.m. instead of 7.45 a.m.

612 Kozhikode-Shoranur Passenger will leave Kozhikode at 5.15 a.m. instead of 5.10 a.m. 619 Kozhikode-Kannur Passenger will leave at 6.35 a.m. instead of 6.20 a.m.

6527 Yeswantpur-Kannur Express will arrive at Kannur at 10.05 a.m. instead of 10.15 a.m. 619 Kozhikode-Kannur passenger will arrive at Kannur at 9 a.m. instead of 8.40 a.m. 387 Coimbatore-Mangalore Fast Passenger will arrive at Mangalore at 7.20 p.m. instead of 7.15 p.m.

More stops have been allotted for a few trains temporarily. 6338/6337 Ernakulam-Okha Express will stop at Koyilandy. 6527/6528 Yeswantpur-Kannur Express will stop at Vadakara and Thalasserry. 387/388 Coimbatore-Mangalore Fast Passenger will stop at Vallikunnu and 619/622 Kozhikode-Kannur Passenger will stop at Chemancheri.

6357/6358 Nagarcoil-Howrah Gurudev Express converted into a super-fast service and renumbered 2659/2660 and. 5627/5628 Trivandrum-Howrah Express has also been so converted and renumbered 2515/2516.

The new timetable of southern zone has been released with the major changes effective from December 1. Copies, at Rs. 25 each, are available for sale at major stations.
