`Touch artist' is back

The `artist' is back, and with a bang. V.V.S. Laxman, who was termed `not physically fit' before the South Africa tour, has been summoned to resurrect a completely demolished Team India and in yet another surprise, named the vice-captain of the team that has found itself on the wrong side of the safari.

Whether his inclusion is as a saviour or as the proverbial last straw, since the hitherto out of favour Saurav Ganguly has also been given a chance, is yet to be seen.

More interesting will be to see how the gifted Hyderabadi with one of the most famous wrists in the game goes about his job.
