Accor plans new Novotel

300-room hotel to come up at Shamshabad


  • Hotel to be developed on a five-acre site
  • It will feature a `resort-within-a-city'

    HYDERABAD: Strengthening its footprint in Hyderabad, Accor Hotels and Resorts has announced the development of Novotel Hyderabad International Airport, a 300-room hotel, which will be open for business when the upcoming international airport commences its commercial operations. It will be developed on a five-acre site and will feature a `resort-within-a-city' design and ambience.

    The hotel will have an all-day dining restaurant, specialty restaurant, bar, business centre, meeting, health, leisure and recreation facilities. According to Accor SA chief executive officer Gilles Pelisson, they were gearing up to set up a world-class hotel here. Accor was already represented here through operation of the Hyderabad International Convention Centre and adjacent Novotel Hyderabad.
