Water level

MADURAI: The level in the Periyar dam stood at feet 136.50 (136 feet) with an inflow of 1,551 cusecs and a discharge of 1,650 cusecs.

The level in the Vaigai dam stood at 69 feet (71 feet) with an inflow of 2,150 cusecs and a discharge of 4,841 cusecs. The combined Periyar credit stood at 8,072 mcft.

Results announced

The results of M. Phil, undergraduate, postgraduate and advanced diploma (regular and private) courses of summative examinations November 2006, conducted by the Thiagarajar College, can be accessed in the following website, www.tcartscontroller.org. According to a press release, the mark-sheets can be obtained from the office of Controller of Examinations from Thursday. — Staff Reporter
