Call centre driver murdered
Staff Reporter
BANGALORE:
A call centre driver, Manju, was allegedly murdered on Sunday and his body dumped on a railway track in Ramamurthynagar to pass it as a suicide. The truth emerged on Thursday with the arrest of three persons, including the owner of Manju's vehicle, Kumar and his two friends. Manju had reportedly taken the vehicle on Friday and Saturday without informing Kumar. On his return, he presented an inflated diesel bill to Kumar. Angered by this, Kumar and friends allegedly took Manju on a trip, during the course of which one of the three accused persons stabbed him on the thigh, which cut a main artery. Manju bled to death, the police said. To confuse the police, the three dumped the body on the railway track.
