CHENNAI: Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu.

Dry weather prevailed over Kerala, Lakshadweep Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.

The chief amounts of rainfall recorded in centimetres:

Srimushnam (Cuddalore dt.), Adiramapattinam, Muthupet (Thiruvarur dt.), Thiruvarur and Devakottai (Sivaganga dt.) 1 each.

Chitradurga recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 13 degree Celsius in the plains of the region.

FORECAST (Valid until Sunday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places over Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Kerala, Lakshadweep, coastal and south interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Andhra Pradesh and north interior Karnataka.
