Scribes' plea

KADAPA: A.P. Union of Working Journalists on Friday alleged that an SC/ST case was foisted against Madhava Naidu, reporter of a vernacular daily at Brahmamgari Matham, and represented to Kadapa Superintendent of Police Y. Nagi Reddy to order withdrawal of the case.

The scribe was targeted for reporting that one Ramu Naik of Kandimallayapalle in Brahmamgari Matham mandal had created fake job cards under rural employment scheme and misappropriated Government funds, APUWJ district president P. Ramasubba Reddy and secretary G. Prabhakar Naidu told the SP.
