Panaji: Noted film actor and director Pooja Bhatt sustained minor injuries in a road accident near the Dambolim airport here. The car in which she was travelling collided with another vehicle. Ms. Bhatt sustained minor injuries on her head and wrist. She was discharged after being administered first aid at a private nursing home. Her car driver also sustained minor injuries. "She has suffered minor injuries to her head. But it was nothing serious. There is no need to worry," Director General of the Goa Police Ujjawal Mishra said. Daughter of seasoned filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, Ms. Pooja was en route to the airport to board a flight for Mumbai when the mishap occurred. A foreigner who was sitting in the car that dashed against Ms. Bhatt's vehicle, was also injured.
