Post office merged

The Gandhinagar Delivery Post Office has been merged with the K.G. Road Post Office, located at No. 2, 1st Cross, B.B. Naidu Road, Gandhinagar, from December 1. The K.G. Road Post Office will provide mail delivery services and customers of Gandhinagar Post Office could use the services from K.G. Road Post Office hereafter, a release from the Department of Posts said.

Open house sessions

The open house sessions of BSNL will be held at all the offices of Area Managers and Deputy General Managers (rural) of BSNL, Bangalore Telecom District, on Saturday. According to a press release, BSNL customers could use of this opportunity to get their grievances redressed and provide suggestions. The open house sessions would commence from 10 a.m.

Competitions

Rangotri, a theatre for children, has organised inter-collegiate theatre competitions from December 6. According to a press release, the competitions would be held in various facets of theatre including staging a play, theatre poster preparations, mono acting, mime, theatre review, and others. Results

Results of the exam held for the post of Armed Police Constables will be put up on the notice board at CAR Headquarters, Sirsi Circle, Mysore Road, on Saturday. Other results will be available on www.karnatakastate-police.org

Slogan contest

To create awareness about rainwater harvesting, Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board will conduct a competition to compose theme sentences and slogans, which will highlight the importance of rainwater harvesting. Slogans can be in Kannada and English. The contest is open to everyone. Entries can be sent to Public Relations Officer, BWSSB, II Floor, Kaveri Bhavan on or before December 30.
