Malabar chamber plea

KOZHIKODE: The Malabar Chamber of Commerce has demanded ending of what it called ``hegemony of taxi drivers'' at the Calicut airport at Karipur and thus, relief for passengers who need transport. In a memorandum to Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan, Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan and others senior officials , the chamber alleged that the present system led to harassment of passengers, unlike in any other airport.
