Jayalalithaa flays delay in supply of LPG

Special Correspondent

CHENNAI: General secretary of the All-India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam Jayalalithaa on Saturday accused the DMK Government of not taking steps to end the delay in the supply of cooking gas to consumers, though the party is a constituent of the UPA Government at the Centre.

She said the Government had announced that it would give free gas stoves to 20 lakh families, at a time when people using LPG experienced difficulty due to delayed supply of cylinders.
