The job fair organisers say reputed multinationals from the information technology and IT enabled sectors, BPO houses, banking and finance, insurance, investment, telecom and other sectors will participate in the two-day event, looking for talented youngsters.

Past and present students (of regular and distance education courses) of the University of Madras and its affiliated colleges will be assessed, interviewed and offered jobs during the fair.

Dr. Susila Mariappan, director of the bureau, said, "The vision of our Vice-Chancellor to have a campus recruitment drive for the university students is being taken forward by the bureau... "

Expertus HR is coordinating the event on behalf of the university and seeking to bring the best of recruiter-companies, said its vice-president, A. Sudharsan.
