THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: All steps have been taken by the administration to ensure that the two-day State wide strike by tanker lorry operators does not affect normal life. The owners of LPG, petrol and diesel agencies in the State can seek the help of the Regional Transport Officer if vehicle is needed to bring LPG, petrol and diesel, a release quoting the District Supply Officer said. Protection would be provided to run vehicles that transport petrol, diesel and LPG. Sales Tax officials have been asked to give priority to the vehicles bringing LPG, petrol and diesel at the check-posts. The dealers have been asked to contact the Taluk Supply Officer or City Rationing Officer for assistance. They may contact telephone numbers 2460866, 9446705560, 9895309317, 9446550260 for getting tankers and police protection.
