Bidar: The Zilla Vikas Vedike has alleged that investigations into the fake transfer scam of teachers was not progressing in the right direction. Teachers were being made the scapegoats, while staff members involved in the scam were being protected, vedike president Ramesh Biradar said in a release. The Commissioner of Public Instruction had suspended the teachers but the officials who sanctioned the transfers were not punished, he said.
