Mysore triumphs

Hyderabad: Surender Prasad scored 136 (12x4, 4x6) and helped his team Mysore University to win the South Zone inter-university cricket championship by defeating Madras University by 36 runs in the final on Saturday.

Prof. P. Chinappa Reddy, Technical Advisor for sports to the Government of AP was the chief guest and gave away the prizes.

The scores:

Mysore University 284 for eight (Surender Prasad 136, Manjunath 62, S.Suresh Kumar three for 45) bt Madras University 248 (Suresh 69, Aditya Ganesh 75, Prithviraj four for 60, Dhananjaya three for 20).
