Teachers to strike work on December 14

CHENNAI: The All India Federation of University and College Teachers Organisations will organise a strike on December 14 in New Delhi demanding, among other things, the constitution of a National Commission for Education. ``All our member organisations will join us in the strike and the subsequent march to Parliament," V.K.Tewari, general secretary, AIFUCTO, told reporters after the conclusion of the organisation's 25th annual academic conference on Sunday.
