Abandoned plastic container triggers panic

NIZAMABAD: An abandoned small plastic container believed to be having explosive material at an audio-video shop near Old Bus Stand area, 200 metres from the residence of Minister for Information and Public Relations Mohd. Ali Shabbir in Kamareddy town sent a ripple of fear among people on Tuesday evening. Swiftly acting on information, the police recovered the container and called the bomb disposal squad, said V. Shyam Sundar, Deputy SP.

He said that the box was left by an unidentified person apparently to create flutter in the town in connection with Black Day to be observed on Wednesday by a section of people.
