Call for imparting quality education

HUBLI: Education plays an important role in making one's life disciplined. It also helps in transforming children into responsible citizens, Trilok Nath Perti, General Manager of South Western Railway, has said.

Speaking the at the annual day celebrations of the South Western Railway Women's Welfare Organisation's (SWRWWO) English Medium School here on Monday, he stressed on the need for imparting quality education to achieve the purpose.

While the students had the task of maintaining a perfect balance between curricular and extracurricular activities, the teachers had the responsibility of making the students do so, he said.

Mr. Perti, and Bina Perti, president of SWRWWO, distributed prizes to the winners of various competitions and honoured meritorious students.

Kamna Garg, secretary of the school administration, spoke about the new initiatives taken by the management to improve the standard of education in the school.
