Four take oath

Lucknow: Four prominent persons drawn from different fields on Tuesday took oath as Information Commissioners of Uttar Pradesh.

Justice (retd) M. A. Khan, Chief Information Commissioner of UP, administered the oath to the four -- Sanjay Yadav, Virendra Saxena, Ram Hari Vijay Tripathi and Ashok Kumar Gupta -- under the Right to Information Act at a ceremony here.

Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav was also present on the occasion.

Earlier, eminent journalist Gyanendra Sharma had been sworn in as State Information Commissioner besides Justice Khan, who was made the CIC. PTI
