Fall proves fatal

A five-year boy who suffered grievous injuries after falling from the first floor of his house at Jiaguda on November 25, died while undergoing treatment at the Osmania General Hospital on Tuesday. The police said Hemanth Singh, son of Anand Singh, fell from the building while playing and suffered serious head injuries.

Body retrieved

The body of an unidentified man aged around 32 was retrieved from Hussainsagar on Tuesday. The man was clad in brown shirt and black trousers. The body has been kept at the Gandhi hospital for identification and autopsy.

Pedestrian killed

A pedestrian was killed after a vehicle knocked him down at Sancharpuri Colony in L. B. Nagar on Monday. 55-year-old Shaik Babu Miya, a labourer and resident of Trimurthynagar, was crossing the road when the vehicle hit him, the police said.
