7,000 pension cases sanctioned

HYDERABAD: A proposal to constitute a committee to identify the freedom fighters who took part in the Hyderabad Liberation Struggle and granting them pension is under consideration. About 7,000 cases recommended by the Hyderabad Special Screening Committee headed by G.M. Shroff have been sanctioned. This was stated by Union Minister of State for Home Manikrao Hodlya Gavit in the Lok Sabha .
