CHENNAI: Mainly dry weather prevailed over Lakshadweep and dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

They were markedly below normal at one or two places over Rayalaseema, below normal at many places over Kerala, over north interior Karnataka, coastal Karnataka, appreciably above normal at a few places Telangana, rest north interior Karnataka, above normal over coastal Andhra Pradesh, at one or two places over rest coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karnataka, rest Telangana and were generally normal over the rest of the region.

FORECAST (Valid until Friday morning): Isolated light rain is likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
