Health check-up for Government officers

Programme underway in some Delhi hospitals

NEW DELHI: The Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry has started a free health check-up programme for Central Government officers of the rank of Additional and Joint Secretaries in Government hospitals in the capital.

The programme, launched on November 14, is underway at the Ram Manohar Lohia and Safdarjung Hospitals, while the Lady Hardinge Medical College Hospital is working out the details.

The check-up includes detailed clinical examination by physician and basic routine investigations and tests and specialised consultation and tests wherever required. Nodal officers have been appointed by the hospitals to facilitate the appointments.
