PUDUCHERRY: The Principal Sessions Judge M. Chinnapandi posted the hearing in the "Kanchi Sankararaman murder case" to January 3. When the case came up before Mr. Chinnapandi on Wednesday, seven of the accused were present in the court. Petitions were filed on behalf of all but one of the remaining accused, to dispense with their appearance. The court was informed that one of the accused, A 13, Meenakshisundaram, had been assaulted in Chennai and was admitted to hospital and hence could not attend court. The judge also confirmed the information from Nagarajan, CB CID Inspector, Kancheepuram, who was present in the court at that time.
