Isolated light rain likely in T.N.

CHENNAI: Dry weather prevailed over Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

The minimum temperature rose at one or two places over Tamil Nadu, fell appreciably at one or two places over Kerala, fell at a few places over north interior Karnataka, at one or two places over rest Tamil Nadu and changed little elsewhere over the region.

They were appreciably above normal at one or two places over coastal Andhra Pradesh, above normal at few places over Telangana, at one or two places over rest coastal Andhra Pradesh, appreciably below normal at one or two places north interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, below normal at a few places over rest Kerala, at one or two places over coastal Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and generally normal over the rest of the region.

Dharwad recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 12 degree Celsius in the plains of the region.

FORECAST (Valid until Saturday morning): Isolated light rain is likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Kerala and Lakshadweep. Mainly dry weather will prevail over Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
