No change in stand on separate Telangana, says Rosaiah

  • Congress is all for second States' Reorganisation Commission

Nellore: The Congress has reiterated that there will be no change in its stand on separate Telangana. "The party has been clear right from the beginning and it has not misled anyone on the issue. We are for the constitution of second States' Reorganisation Commission on the issue," Finance Minister K. Rosaiah told reporters here.

He asserted that the issue was included in the UPA's Common Minimum Programme. The party had left the issue to UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi whose decision would be binding on everyone.
