Corrections and Clarifications

In "Moundadan Chetties plea to Government" (Coimbatore, December 7, 2006, page 3), the sentence was: "In a memorandum submitted to the senior researcher of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) A.K. Singh who visited Mudumalai recently to observe the co-existence of wildlife and the local people, the Moundadan Chetties have sought the intervention of the government." A reader points out that the Archaeological Survey of India should have been the Anthropological Survey of India (Kolkata).

The last paragraph in "19 MoUs signed for IT projects in Gujarat" (December 3, 2006) had a sentence: "Mr. Ramalingam suggested creation of `on job training facilities' during the period students nearly completed their studies." A reader wondered who he was. It should have been B. Ramalinga Raju, chairman, Satyam Computers.
