LB College in final

VISAKHAPATNAM: Dr. L. B. College defeated Prism College by seven wickets to enter the final of the Major Ebden Memorial cricket tournament here on Thursday.

In another semifinal, GSL Medical College, Rajahmundry overcame the challenge of Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad by six wickets.

The scores: Prism College 168 for five in 30 overs (Penta Rao 50) lost to Dr. L. B. College 171 for three in 28.1 overs (V. Trinadh 63, P. Kishore Kumar 46).

Gandhi Medical College 108 in 23 overs (Sagar four for 15) lost to GSL Medical College 113 for four in 22.4 overs. — Sports Reporter
