Clarification
With reference to the report published on page 1 under the heading `No action yet on hoardings' on Thursday, Congress MP and advocate B. S. Gnanadesikan clarifies that there are more than one Supreme Court stay orders in operation on cases related to removal of advertisement hoardings.
"The Tamil Nadu Outdoor Advertising Association's petition included only its members. But there are a few others who have approached the Supreme Court independently and have obtained stay orders. The Chennai Collectorate is restrained to act against any of the hoardings for which the stay order is obtained," he said.
