NEW DELHI: In a new twist to the tussle within the Janata Dal (Secular), party president H.D. Deve Gowda on Friday suspended P.G.R. Sindhia, former Minister, from the primary membership of the party. Announcing this, general secretary and spokesperson of the party Kunwar Danish Ali said Mr. Sindhia, member of the party's national executive committee, had been suspended from the party as he had not only been issuing statements against the party leadership, but had also campaigned for Congress candidate Siddaramaiah in the byelection to the Assembly from the Chamundeswari constituency.
