PATHANAMTHITTA: The SVGV Higher Secondary School at Kidangannur, near Aranmula, with 131 points became the overall champions in the three-day District Higher Secondary Schools' youth festival that came to a close in Adoor on Friday evening. The PSVPM HSS at Iyravon, near Konni, with 115 points and the Mar Thoma Higher Secondary School in Pathanamthitta with 91 po ints were placed second and third in the youth festival. District panchayat vice-president A.P. Jayan presented trophies to the winners at the valedictory function held at the Adoor Government HSS. Pallickal grama panchayat president K. Mohanan presided.
