KADAPA: Top officials of Kadapa district administration went to the doorsteps of people of Narayanareddipalle village in Sambepalle mandal under `Palle Nidra' programme on Friday night, mingled with them to ascertain their problems and issued instant orders for redressal of their grievances. Villagers who returned from day-long work, women who completed their daily chores, school students and the elderly narrated their problems to District Collector M.T. Krishna Babu, Superintendent of Police Y. Nagi Reddy and officials of various departments who went round the village and nearby Harijanawada from 7.30 p.m. onwards.
Instant orders
Mr. Krishna Babu issued immediate orders to officials concerned on hearing the complaints of people. He assured sanction of pucca houses in place of tiled and thatched houses. Of the 1,900 houses sanctioned in Sambepalle mandal, 320 were in Narayanareddipalle village, he said. He directed Sambepalle MRO Sambhosankar to change the mid-day meals agency when some students complained about the quality of food served.
