Importance of orthodontics stressed

CHENNAI: Governor S.S. Barnala stressed the importance of orthodontics for going beyond cosmetic dentistry and ensuring long-lasting dentition.

He addressed the 41st Indian Orthodontic Conference recently.

Dr.N.R.Krishnaswamy, organising secretary, said delegates from Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Thailand, Oman, Dubai and Muscat presented research findings.

Dr. Akhter Hussain president, IOS, launched a website. Dr. M.R. Balasubramaniam, conference chairman, spoke.
