Artillery Centre lauded for `high standards'

HYDERABAD: General Officer Commanding, Andhra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala Area, Major General B. Sivasankar was accorded a warm welcome when he visited the Artillery Centre here on Saturday.

Artillery Centre Commandant Brigadier P. Raina explained to the General Officer the upcoming projects and construction sites in connection with the Military World Games slated to be held next year and the training and administrative activities of the centre.

Major General Sivasankar had a preview to the role of artillery centre in the light of the fast changing scenario of modern warfare. He also visited the training regiments, various institutions and the newly established Ranbir Hall. He appreciated the upkeep and high standards maintained at the Centre, according to a release.
