Krishna Yadav released from prison in Pune

HYDERABAD:
Former Telugu Desam legislator C. Krishna Yadav, who was arrested by the Maharashtra police on September 6, 2003, for his alleged involvement in the multi-crore fake stamp paper racket, was released from Yerawada jail in Pune on Monday evening.
Mr. Yadav will come to the city on Wednesday morning and perform pooja at a temple in Basheerbagh.
Family members, relatives and activists went to Pune and met him.
The Supreme Court granted bail to him on Friday after obtaining two sureties of Rs.5 lakhs each and a personal bond of Rs.5 lakhs.
The court also directed him to surrender his passport to the Central Bureau of Investigation.
