TIRUCHI: A meeting of headmasters and music teachers of Government Music Schools from 17 districts was held here recently. At the meeting, the participants thanked the Chief Minister, M. Karunanidhi, for regularising the services of headmasters and teachers.

A resolution was adopted at the meeting urging the State Government to appoint headmasters for music schools through promotion instead of direct recruitment.
