MALAPPURAM: The All India Lawyers Union will hold its ninth State conference at Manjeri near here on Saturday and Sunday. Minister for Home and Administration of Justice Kodiyeri Balakrishnan will inaugurate the meet on Saturday morning. Varkala Radhakrishnan, MP, who is State president of the Union, will preside over the function. Seminars and interactions on legal issues of topical relevance will mark the conference. High Court judge K.K. Dinesan will inaugurate a seminar on `impact of globalisation and restructuring of judiciary.' Kerala Public Service Commission chairman K.V. Salahuddin will preside over the session. Minister for Electricity A.K. Balan will inaugurate a seminar at 6 p.m. on Saturday. Minister for Law M. Vijayakumar will deliver the keynote address at a session on Sunday morning.
