NDA ends boycott

NEW DELHI: The NDA announced on Tuesday the end of its boycott of meetings called by Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee.

The NDA leaders said they expressed to the Speaker their reservations about transaction of business during any disorder in the House, except financial business or that relating to bills to replace ordinances. The Speaker, they said, assured the Opposition that he would keep their reservations in mind.
