SAIL in semifinals

KOLKATA: SAIL, Durgapur, played with nine men to defeat George Telegraph of Kolkata 1-0 in a quarterfinal match of the OIL Challenge Gold Cup at Dhuliajan, Assam, according to information received here on Tuesday.

The only goal of the match came in the 20th minute through Sankar Roy.

SAIL saw two of its players sent off with red cards in the 58th and 84th minutes, but still managed to hold on to the one-goal lead.
