Shitul and Leckspok shine

MANGALORE: Shitul of Shree Devi College and Leckspok of Sapthagiri College came up with all-round performances to enable their team record convincing wins in the hotel management colleges' cricket tournament for the Shree Devi Cup here on Tuesday.

While Shree Devi beat Moti Mahal by 36 runs, Sapthagiri got the better of Sarosh by six wickets.

The scores: Shree Devi 160 for nine in 30 overs (Shitul 41, Anup 32) bt Moti Mahal 124 in 23.1 overs (Shitul three for 21, Anif three for 29).

Sarosh 92 in 20.2 overs (Leckspok five for 14, Ashish three for eight) lost to Sapthagiri 94 for four in 16.4 overs (Vikas 33, Leckspok 31). — Staff Reporter
