GHAZIABAD: A block pramukh in Bulandshahar district of Uttar Pradesh has been shot dead by some unidentified persons, the police said on Tuesday. Madan Pal Sirohi, who was killed on Monday, was the block pramukh of B. B. Nagar. The unidentified men used AK-47 rifles to shoot at Sirohi, police added. The police suspect the killing could be the result of a gang war as the brother of the deceased, who was in a Ghaziabad jail in a murder case, had a longstanding enmity with another rival gang leader, who was lodged in Bulandshahar jail.
