This Day That Age
Prime Minister Nehru told the Lok Sabha on December 12 that the Government had accepted the majority report of the Netaji Enquiry Committee, headed by Mr. Shah Nawaz Khan, according to which Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose died in an air crash in Taiwan. The Prime Minister laid on the table of the House a copy of the dissentient report submitted by Mr. Suresh Bose, a member of the Committee and elder brother of Netaji. Mr. H.V. Kamath asked whether a copy of the Government's comments on the dissentient report would also be presented to the House, stating whether or not the Government had accepted it. Mr. Nehru said the Government had not accepted the dissentient report.
