VSNL ties up with F-Secure for security solutions

CHENNAI: Videsh Sanchar Nigam Limited (VSNL), an Internet service provider, and the Finland-based Internet security company, F-Secure Corporation, have tied up to offer security solutions for the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) segment. Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Jari Heinonen, Director (APAC Region), F-Secure Corporation, said the two companies would jointly offer comprehensive managed security services such as F-Secure's antivirus solution as well as firewall and spam filtering solutions. The company was also looking at other SMEs (non-VSNL customers) through its marketing chain.
